For those who didn't make it into the Post Office during late night shopping on Thursday, the new 2012 Audlem calendars are now in stock.
The calendar includes twelve splendid photographs, all taken by local photographers, which capture the different aspects of the village month by month. The September picture is unusual in that it is an aerial photo by Geoff Farr, taken late on a lovely sunny day, presumably just before coming in to land at Cox Bank International Airport.
The calendar will make a superb gift as a reminder to those who have only briefly visited the village, and for friends and relatives who perhaps used to live in Audlem and for whom it will invoke many happy memories.
The calendar costs £4.99 (including a suitable envelope for posting) from the Post Office — the print run was not huge, so you need to go and get your copies soon.
