The current Audlem Online Vote Poll asking "Are Audlem's rural roads fit for purpose?" is attracting a resounding 'No' in answer. Over 80% who have voted are clearly unimpressed with the state of the area's roads.
With the new chief executive of Cheshire East saying she intends to visit Audlem shortly, this appears to be an issue that needs to be tackled. Also, in January, village representatives are meeting with David Brickhill, the county councillor who will be assuming political responsibility for roads and their repair and upkeep. The Vote poll and the points made in the Forum on this issue could help make this a lively yet informed discussion.
For those new to Audlem Online, perhaps firing up new computers this Christmas, to vote simply click on 'Yes', 'No' or 'Unsure' in the Vote Poll panel to the right of the Homepage and then on 'Vote Now'. The Forum debate can be found by clicking on Forum on the top horizontal bar and then clicking on the bold title of the debate. There are lots of other current debates you can read and possibly join in.
