Updated on April 10th
From Tuesday 14th April the opening hours will be..
We are having to close for longer during the day at the moment to support extra cleaning and to manage larger than usual deliveries while maintaining social distancing.
For special Easter opening times, see here.
We will be in the building but working to prepare prescriptions and to complete extra cleaning. Of course if anyone needs urgent, end of life medication we will ask you to knock loudly.
We tend to have a queue right on opening time........ To avoid a queue try to avoid that time.
We are trying to manage any queue as quickly as possible so you shouldn't be waiting too long at any time.
The weather has been kind to us so far, long may it continue!
When open, we will allow just one customer in store at any time, So you may have to queue for some time outdoors.
We may need longer than usual to prepare regular repeat medication, perhaps longer than the usual 7 day lead time from ordering to collect. We will of course prioritise, if notified, that a patient is without medication or has been prescribed new/urgent medicine. We will still notify customers with a text message when a prescription is ready to collect, and ADCA is offering a pick-up and delivery service for prescriptions for those who cannot get to the pharmacy (see here).
In these unprecedented times I want to keep you informed as much as possible.
Could I ask that you please inform as many people as you can who may not have access to AudlemOnline.
Thank you for helping us to support as many people as possible and for respecting our colleagues.
I just want to say another HUGE thank you for my team who keep smiling (even if you can't see it behind the masks!) and for their continued hard work at this tricky time.
Warm wishes to you all and your families. Stay safe & keep well.
