The Citizens Advice service helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free, independent and confidential advice, and by influencing policymakers.
The local CAB office is based in Nantwich at The Gables, Beam Street, NANTWICH, Cheshire CW5 5NF and a mobile service visits Audlem each Friday:
Buerton - 09.30 to 10.00 am
Audlem Public Hall car park 10.15 am –12.15 pm
We also have a stop at Thornton House, Audlem on Fridays between 12.30 and 1pm. However, the Thornton House visit is for residents only.
Last year the mobile unit in Audlem dealt with an average of 3 clients per week, with a further 1 a week in the main bureau in Nantwich. To prove that they really are a service for everyone - the age range of people using the van over the last year was between 21 years and 87 years!
The main issue continues to be benefits, particularly with regards to tax credits. They can also offer benefits checks for anyone over 60.
