Many Audlem households will have noticed a sudden and total loss of water supply.
Others will have seen water leaking up through Cheshire Street outside the Public Hall. A 3" pipe is said to have burst.
While a repair team was out yesterday, and again today, it appears the repairs have required many homes' water supply to be turned off.
There are also temporary lights on Cheshire Street outside the Public Hall while the problem is being sorted out.
