Whilst researching our family tree, we have in our possession the attached photograph.
We have been trying to establish the whereabouts of the property, believing it to be in the Audlem area, as two of those on the photograph are our great great aunt, Mary Jane Hope (known as Jane) who was born in 1868, and later married a Thomas Steele, and her brother Joseph Hope who was born in 1877.
On the photograph, Jane is standing right at the back with her hair fastened back and Joseph is second from the left. (You can click on the photo to enlarge it).
Jane (both before and after her marriage), and her brother Joseph, both lived in Woodhouse Lane, Audlem which is why we thought the property may well be located in the Audlem area.
Can anyone identify the property or perhaps any of the other people on the photograph?
