By Lamont Howie of BBC - 14th March 2012 7:05am
My name is Lamont Howie from BBC Radio Stoke. We've set up (with thanks to many of you) a week of outside broadcasts across our broadcast area.
We're bringing a tour bus with satellite dish to the Lord Combermere Car Park in Audlem this coming Monday, 19th March. We're broadcasting 'live' from 10.00am until 1.00pm from Audlem that day.
Why are we coming?
The satellite dish allows us to broadcast from parts of our broadcast area where we find difficulty with our signal for a three hour long duration.
What do we want to broadcast?
Stories from where we are based on the day.
What help would I like to receive?
What do you know that's going on? Please share it — the more topical the news, the better. Who do you know with a fascinating story? Share their contact details so we may be able to chat to them.
These outside broadcasts will be successful if we're able to bring a flavour of where you live — and share why you love where you live.
We don't come with any agenda nor do we wish to report political issues where you live. We simply want to share the flavour of your village.
Any contacts, thoughts or ideas would be gratefully received between now and the date of your local 'OB' on Monday. Please spread the word that we're coming.
Thanks for your support so far and thanks in advance for all your continuing support.
