Today, on Mothers' Day 2012, Audlem Saints played Alsager Town Barcelona and they did themselves proud.
We only had six players against their seven and we still managed a 1-1 draw. We were certainly the stronger team and only conceded the goal due to the tiredness of our players.
Alsager had three reserves and played them all in the second half. We are certainly a team to be wary of even if it's not showing on the league table.
Dave Bebbington, the manager, says: "Remember, it's not the dog in the fight, it's the fight in the dog!"
