At last, the sun was shining, and yesterday Audlem had a party!
It was an amazing day with the Carnival back in full swing and great bands playing to large crowds at venues throughout the village.
The Carnival Parade was back, the playing field was buzzing and the funfair was seemingly plying a great trade.
The music fizzed as musicians, unlike in Sunday's dreadful weather, could feel the sun on their backs and the party really got underway.
Much more to come on a fabulous weekend. And another packed Festival programme today, Bank Holiday Tuesday.
