Audlem Community First Responders

The First Responders are a trained team of volunteers, trained by and working with the North West Ambulance Service. They all live in Audlem and can attend those emergencies that are referred to them by NWAS.

The First Responders are not paid for their work. The car used by the Audlem team was donated by Cheshire Constabulary at no cost. The Parish Council donated £500 when the scheme was initially set up, with a further £1,000 in 2009/10 financial year. Other monies have been raised from local businesses and local donations. The only money received from the NWAS is for car mileage.

Insurance, car tax and other running expenses have to be found from
donations.

Please call Debbie Ruscoe - Icke if you would like to donate to this valuable community service on 01270 812339.
