I enjoyed listening about your moves to be Welsh on today's Radio4. My wife was Welsh, she would have approved! We have visited Audlem three times, while on canal boat holidays, twice going up to Llangollen and once on the four counties ring, we still remember the enormous mixed grills in the Shroppie Fly!

I'm sorry but I'm not going to be Welsh. If I wanted to be Welsh I would of been. I'm English forever, Wales never.

You are welcome to join us here in Wales. You will have to take a Welsh citizenship test, of course.

Not sure about this move. Have you spoken to our MPs and AMs regarding this? Would you be a free state?

Good Luck with becoming Welsh. I'm a proud English person from Cheshire and would love to see the English vote for devolution from Wales and Scotland as opposed to the other way round. How can you sell out your heritage for a free prescription?. The Welsh are welcome to you!

For those posters who refer to subsidising the workshy Welsh, it should be pointed out that Welsh coal, steel and water subsidised the Industrial Revolution, not to mention continuing to supply cities like Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham that would die without it.
Glyn Dwr's borders of 1408 should be adopted and then we workshy might not be forced to move to London for jobs.

England accounts for 84% of the uk’s employed workforce and pays 81.2%of the uk revenue from tax yet it is the work-shy Welsh and Scottish that gets the benefits I dream of the day when we do not have to subsidise them.

I am personally horrified to find out that you want to become part of Wales. Good riddance, but do not forget to give back your “2005 Cheshire and Northern England Village of the Year award” as it would seem you have ambitions of being part of Wales for a while now.

I'd like to see wales extend it's borders a little further to be honest, but Audlem's a start!! We have a better rugby team too!
