Venue: ButtermarketThe local NSPCC committee will be holding its annual spring fundraising event under the Buttermarket from 10 am to 12.30 pm. On offer will be a tombola and raffle. Please support this worthy event.

Venue: Bellaport FarmCharity Open Weekend in aid of Midlands Air Ambulance at Bellaport Farm, Norton in Hales, over the weekend of 19th and 20th May from 11.00am to 4.00pm. Showcasing the work of local Arts and Crafts people as well as Open Gardens, Woodland Walk, Pony rides, Zumba lessons, Tombola and delicious refreshments. There is also opportunity to see the old Estate Forge and Bellows working during a demonstration by Chris Gosling - a local Artist Blacksmith. Bellaport Farm is on the left off the road to Norton in Hales from Audlem about a mile past Kinsey Heath and the drive that goes up to Highfields.

Venue: Audlem St James' SchoolRag Bag returns to Audlem on Monday 28th May to collect any unwanted textiles in order to raise funds for Audlem St James' Primary School. Items that can be donated must be fabric ie. clothes, sheets, curtains or be able to be worn (including shoes and accessories). Please NO Bric-a-brac, duvets or pillows. Thank you to Williams Newsagents for again, agreeing to be a drop-off point for the community and for distributing leaflets and bags. Bags can be dropped in to Williams Newsagents on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th May, during their usual opening hours. Alternatively, the school will accept bags on Thursday 24th and Friday 25th May, at school drop-off and pick-up times ONLY. Don't forget, we also have our Rag Bag bank, permanently sited just inside the main gate to the school.
